Abstract: Today there has been an increase in the use of Social Media by Behavior Analysts. There are Facebook pages dedicated to Applied Behavior Analysis, there are behavior analysts who frequently provide information on social media, and there are even influencers. As such many behavior analysts are engaging on social media and getting information about the practice of behavior analysis from social media. It is important that while on social media that behavior analysts act ethically. This talk will go over ways behavior analysts can act ethically while on social media.

    1. identify the steps of the process of reporting individuals and why it is our obligation to follow the reporting process.
    2. identify 2 codes that relate to misinformation and disinformation on social media.
    3. identify 2 codes that relate to promoting pseudoscience on social media.
