Social Skills Group – Development and Logistics

Abstract:
Participating in a social skills group is a commonly recommended part of intervention for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, yet further research is needed to determine which factors contribute to successful outcomes. Given the results of a successful social skills group conducted by Leaf et al. (2017), Dr. Milne will discuss considerations when developing a social skills group in order to increase effectiveness for the individuals involved.
